I’m Niluka Bandara — a Stockholm-based mobile developer with 14 years of software engineering experience, specializing in Flutter, cross-platform applications and digital payments.

Engineering with ownership.
I build and ship production mobile applications across fintech, enterprise and digital-product environments. My current focus is Flutter and Dart, working across architecture, feature development, testing, releases, production support and performance.
At KIX, I work on a live Swedish payments platform where users can send money using a phone number and businesses can accept payments through QR codes. My experience includes BankID, open banking, REST APIs, deep linking, push notifications, secure local storage and Firebase.
I’m equally comfortable making cross-platform architecture decisions and going native when Android or iOS capabilities require it. I also use AI-assisted development workflows for coding, debugging, testing and review.

A colourful Flutter app that teaches children counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division through picture-based lessons and bite-sized quizzes.

Kids pick a topic, explore it in Learn mode with tap-to-count emoji examples, then test themselves with ten-question quizzes. Instant feedback, a friendly owl mascot and animated star rewards keep them coming back to beat their best score.

A resident app and landlord portal for Swedish rental and co-op housing: one place for tenants to handle everything about their home, and one place for landlords to run it.

Two apps, one shared home.
A clickable prototype of a Swedish-style “boendeapp”. Residents get a mobile-first app; landlords get a desktop portal. Both sides share the same live data, so a maintenance request filed by a tenant appears in the landlord’s inbox straight away, and replies and status updates flow back.
